Solving "Pending" While Installing Apps On Windows 8

As some of you might have already know, I'm currently still hanging onto my old Samsung Galaxy S1 which condition gets worst as day passes by. Problems like auto restart, hang, can't press anything, can't install certain new apps are a norm...hahaha.

So have been switching between iPad and my S1 to use LINE apps. The downside of it is that you can't log in on both. Have to give up one of them to use the apps. Kinda bothersome I'd say. Plus the fact that I don't really bring iPad everywhere with me. Mostly went out with my S1. Therefore if I have to use LINE on my iPad, I'd only be able to use the apps during night time. Troublesome huh?

Which is why I'm kinda excited to know that LINE's available on PC! Plus that you can access your account on your PC as well as your phones,etc without the need of erasing the account! Brilliant!

However things weren't that smooth for me as my Windows 8 can't happen to install them onto my lappie. "Pending" was all that I see no matter how many times I cancel and re-download. Fortunately I came across a solution to this "pending" problem while downloading apps for Windows 8.

Nivea Sun Face Moisturising

Bought a new sunblock early this year on 26th of Jan! It's called Nivea Sun Moisturising Immediate Protection Face Cream SPF 50. (Goodness...Why name so long one???)

Been a while since I last use any sunblock cause honestly I'm someone who's too lazy to layer my face daily. But since I've got extra money been thinking for awhile about aging, I decided to invest on sunblock. With fingers crossed that I'll be able to discipline myself to apply the product routinely of course. Fortunately, so far so good. Except for holidays which most of the time I slack...

This is the part where they talk a little bit about the product, usage instructions as well as the ingredients used for this sunblock. Hmm...This product didn't mention if it's sunscreen or sunblock. But I decided to call it sunblock after reading THIS article. I mean, this product contain Titanium Dioxide which was mentioned in the article...So yes...Must be a sunblock. Tell me if I'm wrong since there's no doubt that I got zero knowledge on these things...haha.

The main things that got me "seduced" to try this product would be the "Collagen Protect" as well as the "Immediate Sun Protection" words. Where do I read that again? About how collagen production start to decrease when we reach 25? Of course diff people got diff timing. Just like not everyone on certain age will definitely get their first wrinkle. More like a median I guess? So yeah...have been paying lots of attention on collagen lately. And yes I still haven't try collagen drinks too!

Compared to the competitors brand placed around this baby, they don't really mention about collagen...So yeah...this one is a plus point. Not to forget that this baby protects immediately upon application and there's no need to wait for 20 minutes. I think this is seriously tempting for someone who would want things to be done fast. Hohoho...

For everything else, I think there's not much different compared to the competitors brand...Effective protection against sunburn and premature skin? Normal. Water resistant? Normal. Quickly absorbed? Normal. SPF? Normal. You can read more on SPF, UVA, UVB and PA HERE!

Hmm...Oh wait...there's another good thing to mention! It has Vitamin E to help protecting the skin against free radicals. Though I don't really know what's that free radical is...but I've always loved Vitamin E...So yeah...You, too, is a plus point!

The product mentioned that this sunblock is non-sticky, but I noticed that it does feel sticky upon application. Then it gradually disappears as time goes by. Apart from that, this sunblock oso whitens a lil bit. Not too much to the point you'll look like you're using foundation that's a looottt whiter than your actual skin tone. Moisturising part isn't that bad too! It helps a lil bit on reducing the visibility of skin flakes at times when my skin turns kind of dry. On a side note this sunblock have fragrance that is not much to my liking. (Strong floral? Err...I think I need someone pro in smelling to tell me how to describe this fragrance. LOL) Still bearable though. Considering the benefit given. No "pain" no gain huh?!

Bought this at Watson Mall Kelapa Gading 3 at the price of IDR 92.9k. Still affordable I think? Gonna try the other brand once this tube is finished. But definitely gonna put this on the "buy again" list if I can't happen to find anything better.

Wish Today Gonna End A Lil Faster!

I don't know why but a few months after purchasing my laptop, the screen start acting up! There's that random line that appear and POOF! GONE! and reappears anytime it like. Does this ever happen to you guys? After putting the warranty time into consideration, I decided to send my Toshiba to get repaired. Planned to turned him earlier than the month of January...But I was kinda reluctant as I'm still pretty much addicted on drawing. Postponed till the end of the year and I managed to convince myself that it's time. Therefore I send him away around 10-ish of January and I just got it back on Tuesday.

Around one month plus??? I can't believe how I survived this long without him. Ok la...I cheated as I used back my old Toshiba laptop. But it was only then that I remembered just how old my old Toshiba lappie is. Everything is so laggy. Yet praise the Lord that at least I still got a substitute lappie while waiting for my new lappie to be fully recovered.

As it come and go as it pleased, I can't be sure yet whether it has completely repaired or not. Hopefully it's all good. So far it's not showing unwanted symptoms though!

Elie No.2

Dunno what's wrong with me...been having that art block for a few months. Was it two months? LOL! Out of a sudden everything I draw seems to be mad UGLY and not working.  Tried to overcome it by forcing myself to keep on drawing and still the result wasn't close to satisfactory. Maybe coz I'm emo so everything also become blurred...I think...

So after totally freed myself from drawing (I still draw random half-assed doodles along the way though...those so half-assed that it isn't worth mentioning), I decided it's time to try drawing again...Since it's new year, am having a week worth of holidays, with no plan on New Year Eve and all...LOLOLOLOL!

I did manage to come out with something...lol! It's Elie again! If you've been a friend of mine in FB then you should know who is Elie.. Hahaha...I'm going to post the old drawing of her later on for those who are not in my FB friend list.

Elie No.2

Yes! That's Elie No.2. Being my fav number, drawn on 2nd of January, the 2nd Elie I've drawn, here she is with her new "rainbow" hair I've always wanted to try coloring. As you can see it's supposed to be in rough sketch stage still...but due to my impatience, I straight went into coloring stage in which you can see that I colored her hair! Pretty satisfied with it! As I expected from No.2. You're my lucky number! Will try to finish it ASAP and upload it to DA before my holiday come to an end.

And so please welcome my ugly doodle of Elie No.1 which I did 30 May 2012. Unlike other's work I've seen, I guess I have the ugliest rough sketch ever. What I mean is...even when some artist mentioned that their rough sketch is ugly, it always turned out that their "ugly" rough sketch is those of a "perfect" rough sketch. It's like when you give a few of people to draw stick man, there would be one who came out with the perfect stick man. Erm...or something like drawing ugly creatures and they're able to come out with an awesome ugly creatures instead of something really ugly as in bad proportions and such...Maybe soemthing wrong yet wrong in an awesome way??? Hmm...Enough of blabbering coz I think I wasn't that good at explaining stuffs without showing any visuals. Am too lazy to look for visuals so yeah...let's drop that topic for nao...HOHOHOHO!

So basically that's the steps used to produce Elie. No 1. As for Elie No.2, it's all done digitally since I'm too lazy to draw on papers with the condition that I have right nao. Did I mention that my table is just around 60+ cm in width and 35+ cm in height. So you can roughly imagine how much space I have left with a 14" lappie placed on top of it. Plus my wifi and external hardisk...Still having a huge table as my dream but I guess it's impossible due to the restrictive space I have living in a small apartment...Bless me!

Year End Addiction

Since it's Christmas and I'm aloney at my home watching anime, I thought that I'd blog on something random. So anyone watched Running Man?? It's been out there for years already but as usual I'm being slow and just gotten the chance to watch them this year.

It all started when Dreamie gave me a link to Running Man epi 163 starring my fav Big Bang. Unfortunately, my internet modem was still under maintenance for many months so I don't have the chance to watch it yet. Until the month of November where I found out that my x-intern, Natasha have a few episodes of Running Man with her. So one day she came to visit the office to hand me the two episodes which have Big Bang as guest. And since I have no internet for many months and don't really have anything to watch during my free time at home, so I copied the all of the Running Man episode she have.

Sure enough I got addicted and asked her if she have more than what she have. If not mistaken she have like...from episode 80++ to 100++ ish?? So there's the beginning part missing! However it turned out that my other intern, Candy has all of them!! Miracle much! That's how I got all the episodes with me...all thanks to these two beautiful ladies!

Basically it's something like Family outing...so was it a reality show? hmm I don't know what's the genre. This show mainly about the people playing games and finishing mission. Doh...I'm bad at explaining things! Anyway....they have like 8 main charas running the show...each with their own unique characters! Though later Joong Ki left coz he have filmings (Something liddat...I forgot which epi mentioned this...it's the epi where they all went to Haha's house...LOL!)

YOO JAE SUK

Seriously I'm in love with Jae Suk ahjussi! He's mad funny and never fails to bring laughter to me! He's really entertaining and his trandmark ass pose is epic much!

KIM JONG KOOK

(Commander, Sparta Kook, Tiger, Kook-ie)

When it's strength you're talking about, then it's Kim Jong Kook! Most of the time, the team who have him in the group tend to win...LOL! Power much! Later on this show he tend to let his aegyo side came out and even his name tag turned into Kook-ie! HAHAHA!

To much of my surprise, he's a singer too...Most of the time this shows plays "Loveable" in which you can watch in youtube. Not bad I'd say. Catchy tunes!

JI SUK JIN

(Jae Suk's Sunflower, Big Nose Hyung, Impala)

Things I like about him would be his expressions! Very lebih and I like it ok! HAHAHA! Especially his epic "Oooosaaa" and that add on blush effect whenever he look at woman. Somehow it's cute!

The only female in Running Man. Except when there's female guest. She's so pretty and I love the Monday Couple starring her and Kang Gary!

KANG GARY

Other than being Monday couple, I also like his calm expression! Especially in the beginning of Running Man where they have photo competition. My stomach hurts so much from laughing at those epic pictures he produced...Here's the photo...LOL!

Apart from that, he produced some really nice songs too under the name of Leessang! Here's some of the song of his that I like!

The cutest chara with kid concept? It's fun to watch him in every episode coz it's always so refreshing to see him acting cute all the way. Apparently he's a singer too under the name Skull & Haha.

Same age with Gwang Soo, he's often visualized as the smartest among the member! I first knew him from the drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal. He's really good in that drama! Too bad he left this show pretty early. Wish to see him again in the later episodes!

LEE GWANG SOO

He's also the tallest and most pitiful among the members. I lol-ed hard at his epic "framing" in the early episodes on Ji Hyo. Especially the one about drinking. Love his dramatic expressions too~

Last but not least, here comes my fav scene of Monday Couple from earlier episodes of Running Man.

Always looking forward to their Monday Couple scenes on every episodes. But seems like it ended in the later episodes? Coz the first episodes of Running Man that I watched was epi 163. It looked like they've "break up" on those later episodes. Too bad...I really enjoy looking at them together!

And oh...while watching the episodes with CNBLUE's Yong Hwa, somehow it reminds me of Jasmine. Told her too on LINE but somehow I need pictures to show the resemblance and here it is...LOL! I think she has met her male doppelganger already!
